Vivian Maier

    I thought the documentary was interesting because her photos pulled me in since they're a lot different then pictures I usually see. She also has this mystery behind her and her pictures and she captured the social and political problems. I'll be looking more into her story and searching up more of her photos.

Old Sacramento Field Trip

 

 

     These pictures are from the field trip to yesterday to Old Sacramento. At first my assignment was to do signs and buildings but then I went off subject when I went into this novality store and stayed in there and got some good pictures of the older stuff in there. I also got some good shots when I went on top of a parking lot.

Today we had to work with remote flash and shadows in a picture

 

Formal Portraits

Today we had to shoot formal portraits and it was one of the most difficult assignments I had to do so far. It was difficult trying to get the right lighting to not make the picture too dark, after I found my subject and talked to her it was easier to take pictures of her. 

Creative Photography Project

Today we had to come up with our own assignment to do and when I looked up things things that had to do with glitter was mentioned a lot. So I got glitter and put it on my subject to get a cool look to my picture.

At first it was difficult to capture the subject right because the lighting was off but after I got the hang of taking the oicture the right way it made it easier.
